**Question 1;What is a good definition of percent? You should use words symbols pictures and numerical examples in your definition.**

**It is an equivalent fraction out of 100 you will know it is a percent because you'll see this sign after the number %**

How are three fifths (3/5), 3:2, 60%, and 0.6 all the same? Use pictures and words to show your answer.

*They are all equivalents.*

*Because 3:2 , you add the two numbers together and you get 5 and that is the denominator and the first number of the ratio is the numerator so it's 3.*

*Then i would be 3/5.So both are the same value.*

*Now 60% is the same to all of these because to find a percent you have to divide numberator(3) by the denomenator (5) then you multiply it by 100 and you get 60% (n/d*100=%).*

*So that means it is similar because 3/5 = 0.6 * 100 = 60%.*
