1 . Suppose you roll a regular 6-faced die .

How many equally likely outcomes are there ?
There are 6 outcomes (1,2,3,4,5,6)

If you roll the die once, what is the probability of rolling a 3 ?

The probability of rolling a 3 would be 1/6 or 16.67%

If you roll the die 60 times, about how many times would you expect to get a 1 ?

i would expect to get a one 10/60 =1/6 or 16.67%

If you roll the die 300 times , about how many times would you expect to get a 5?

i would expect to get a 5 50/300= 1/6 or 16.67%

haha yeah i knoe the dice really ugly =P

My Question

if you roll an 8-faced die 600 times how many times would you expect to get the number 7 ? explain you answer in a fraction and a percent.

i would expect to get then number 7 75/600 =1/8 or 12.5%

-8/26 = there is 11 letters in mathematics but there are only 8 different letters.

Question. At the Grey Cup game the seats went all around the stadium and there are 100,000 seats in total. There are also only three rows. 50,000 in the top row, 25,000 in the middle row and 25,000 seats in the bottom row. If i buy a ticket for each row what is the probability i will get all middle seats in each row? This ones a brain teaser!
