Anwser: Percent means parts per 100
The symbol is % Example: 25% means 25 per 100

How are three fifths (3/5), 3:2, 60% and 0.6 all the same? Use pictures and words to show your answer.

3/5 = 3 divided by 5 = 0.6 then you multiply it by 100 so the anwser is 60%
3:2 = 3/5 = 3 then you divided it by 5 = 0.6 then you multiply by 100 = 60%
60% = 60% 0.6 multiply 100 = 60%
they are all equivilant because when 3:2 then you add 3 + 2 = 5 then you take the 3 that you were going to add then you take the anwser 5 then you have 3/5.
now you have 3/5 so you divide them example : ( 3 divided by 5 = 0.6 ) then you have the anwser
Here we on to percentages we have the anwser 0.6 you multiply by 100 example : ( 0.6 x 100 = 60% )
so that means they are all equivilant

Ms Stanzi said that a greater number of her students met their reading goal. Could Ms Stanzi be correct? Why or Why not.
i think ms stanzi can be correct because she has 50% of more students but ms lowrey has more students than ms stanzi ms lowery has 55% of more students. the question didnt really metion how many students were in the class so im not that sure about it.
my work : 20 50%= 10 15 55%= 8

Overall Comment for the Growing Post: i think i did really bad on my growing post i didnt really put that much effort onto it. the only thing i did good was anwsering the questions. next time i would like to describe my anwsers correctly and take the time to add more stuff onto it.
